Halloa!
My name is Jessamy and I've been writing since I was a kid. I always knew I wanted to write a novel, but I wanted to write and illustrate children's books too. As I got older, I just figured "who said I can't do both?" I don't have any published work at the moment, but I'm in the process of writing a short story book as well as working on ideas for a children's book.
Outside of work and writing, I'm working on a bullet journal, playing guitar, painting, and building LEGOs. Occasionally, I'll roller skate and I want to learn how to crochet. Fun fact: I fractured my ankle while roller skating when I was 15. Don't worry. I know how to roller skate now.
Get to Know Me
I live in Eastern Oregon where I was born and raised. You might think it's boring here in rural Oregon, but ask anyone who knows me. They'll tell you about how I'm always on the move whether it's a drive around the backroads, a day trip to Portland, Oregon, or flying to Mexico for a month. I love being on the go.

When I do find down time at home, I try to take the time to relax and read or spend time with my friends and family. It's never a dull moment around here, even if I'm having a Harry Potter marathon for the nth time.

Then there's my job. I work at a McDonald's and my coworkers are the first witness to how big of a people person I can be 1 on 1. I love chatting with my customers because if all I can do right now is tell people "good morning" and serve them their coffee, then I'm going to be the best one at it.
